U Mobile partners MacroKiosk to introduce enterprise messaging service

PETALING JAYA (Dec 12, 2012): U Mobile Sdn Bhd has teamed up with Macro Kiosk Bhd, a local mobile technology enabler, to provide fast, simple and cost-effective messaging services to U Mobile's enterprise customers through its new Biz SMS Blast service.

In a joint statement today, U Mobile and MacroKiosk said the U Mobile Biz SMS Blast service runs on MacroKiosk's global enterprise messaging platform through an integrated and controlled environment via a web-based application.

"It gives users the convenience and flexibility to broadcast personalised messages to their targeted recipients at just the click of a button," they added.

Features available on the Biz SMS Blast service include group broadcasting, personalised messaging, campaign scheduling, multi-lingual messages, inter-operator connectivity and mobile number lookup.

"The new service is ideal for our enterprise, retailers, corporate and small and medium enterprise customers. It is easily managed and the single point of connection and support makes it more cost effective," said U Mobile CEO Jaffa Sany Ariffin.

He added that MacroKiosk's global enterprise messaging platform will allow U Mobile's enterprise customers to reach more than 500 mobile operators and 2 billion mobile subscribers in both postpaid and prepaid segments worldwide.

MacroKiosk group CEO Kenny Goh said enterprises subscribing to U Mobile's Biz SMS Blast can be assured of quality, reliability, efficiency and full customer security.
