KUALA LUMPUR: Mobile technology enabler Macrokiosk has teamed up with Finexasia.com Sdn Bhd to provide OSK-Signet Trustees Bhd with an Internet-based will-writing service that comes with SMS confirmation.
The service, electronic Estate Planning Service (e-EPS), gives OSK-Signet clients and agents the convenience of submitting the details required to draft a will anywhere and anytime, with instant notification via SMS (short message service), Macrokiosk said in a statement.
In recognition of this, OSK-Signet, a trust corporation which has will-writing as one of its core retail services, was presented with the "First Comprehensive Online Will" award by the Malaysian Book of Records.
"The response and feedback with regard to e-EPS has certainly been overwhelming, not only from our clients and alliance partners but also from those eager to sign up as agents," said Ong Eu Jin, OSK-Signet's chief operating officer.
"Current agents find this method of submission much faster and more efficient. As less time is required to attend to each client, agents can now focus on getting new and potential clients," he said.
Macrokiosk chief operating officer Henry Goh said, "e-EPS, with its SMS features, takes will-writing and custodian services in Malaysia to a new level of convenience."
Macrokiosk (www.macrokiosk.com) is powering OSK-Signet's latest service through its Mobile Enterprise Services (MES) platform.
